Appeared in Leopoldstadt at The Wyndham’s Theatre – Jan 2020 to Mar 2020

A member of the original London cast for the latest play by Tom Stoppard, Maya was playing both Sally & Mimi (alternating).

Tom Stoppard’s new play Leopoldstadt opened in the West End on 25 January with Maya playing Mimi.

Regarded as ‘Britain’s greatest living playwright’ (The Times), Tom Stoppard’s new play, directed by Patrick Marber, is an intimate drama with an epic sweep; the story of a family who made good.

Maya was be one of three alternating groups of five children starring in this show.

Unfortunately, this run was cut short due to Covid 19.

Olivier Award Winner!

On Sunday 25 October 2020, Leopoldstadt won not one, but TWO Olivier Awards!

Best New Play and Best Actor in a Supporting Role, which went to her amazing colleague Adrian Scarborough. Maya is so proud to have been part of this incredible play.

Due to COVID-19 Leopoldstadt was closed along with all the other West End Shows.

They plan to resume performances towards the end of the year, however at this time we do not know if Maya will reprise her roles.  

Previews/Press Night

Previews began on 25 January 2020 and culminated in Press Night on 12 February 2020.

Maya performed in the first ever show on the 25 January.  She also performed on the nights following the official press night, the 13th, 14th and both shows on the 15th of which press were also invited.
